BA French and Italian Studies

PGCE Secondary Modern Foreign Languages

My career in translation began over ten years ago in the role of In-house Subtitler and Translation Project Manager from 2006-2009 at the European Captioning Institute.
After teaching languages for five years in London secondary schools, and spending a summer translating in-house for a leading agency in Parma, I now focus on freelance translating, subtitling and language tuition.

I offer high-quality translations from French and Italian into English, as well as revision and proofreading services. Areas of particular translation expertise and experience include:
Subtitling
I am also an experienced subtitler (3 years in house with ECI; current clients include EIKON and Mediapiu Audioproduzioni) and offer a range of services including English SDH, English translation templates and FR>EN or IT>EN translation subtitles using WINCAPS Q4.
Teaching
I am a qualified languages teacher (TEFL, PGCE) and offer online and in-person language lessons in English, French and Italian.
